Swiss American Etienne (ASCAP/TAXI) just released his debut solo demo, "When," a self-produced record on all major online distribution sites. The 12 demo songs were written, played, and recorded by Etienne during 2005. Cosmopolite Etienne was born in Amsterdam, New York and spent his early childhood in the Congo, formerly Zaire. With his Swiss parents, he and his family moved to Florida in '91 fleeing the political uproar of the Congolese people against their President Mobutu. Currently at Columbia College Chicago (Music Business), Etienne combines all his major influences into one, bringing the styles of ABBA, Elton John, the Bee Gees, and Phil Collins, together. He is a passionate dancer and performer, very much inspired by Michael Jackson. Etienne has his eye on the world and is eager to bring his music everywhere. He is fluent in French, Swiss German and English. Etienne supports and donates to organizations that address social, health, and environmental issues. He was signed with Caliber Records in 2004 and is now looking for a producer, publishing, a record contract, and more. Look out for Etienne on tour!
