"Tea For Julie's debut is one of the strongest self-released debuts I've ever heard. While showing many influences along the way, each track is distinctive and with its own voice. I highly recommended this band both recorded and live. Expect great things from Tea For Julie"

Tea for Julie's music has been described as "bold and emotive indie-pop". There are moments of sonic grandeur and others of quiet sentimentality all wrapped up within well crafted pop songs. The band formed in Portland, Oregon during the summer. Since that time the band has: toured up and down the west coast and played supporting act to 'Evan Dando' (Lemonheads) and The Ocean Blue. They have seen their songs used in a film at 'The Sundance Film Festival", on the Los Angeles based 'Indie Hits' Compilation, the PDX-POPNOW! Compilation and currently being paired with the groundbreaking experimental footage of Stan Brakhage for aa advertisement for Oregon State University. The band is also the subject of a film documentary in progress. 'Tea for Julie' has just released their first full length album, 'Division' . It has recently been added into rotation on Seattle's best radio station KEXP!
