Though he was born in the late sixties, Stefan began his life a second time in 1991 when he broke his spine in a motorcycle accident. For several years he lived under the threat of being crippled for life but miraculously recovered almost completely. Of course, his life was rearranged in a big way but here he was, still walking this earth... He had to change his day-time job, find a new girlfriend (yes, she left him due to the accident), get rid of that ridiculously heavy Marshall amp and lots and lots of other things. During these years of seeking his new life, he stumbled straight into the musical scene. For several years Stefan played musicals and arranged and recorded music for musical shows in the south of Sweden. For example Stefan did the arrangements and the recording as well as the sound engineering for the swedish premiere of Lloyd Webber's "Evita" back in 1998.

All this was very good but Stefan started to miss writing music. Back in the eighties he was the lead singer/guitarist of an AOR band called "Ariel". This band was in the final of the Swedish Championship in Rock '87, a national competition where the grand prize was a record deal. The band didn't win, but made good contacts with several record labels. In the beginning of the new millenium Stefan decided to start writing again and out came – nothing, at first. Then came something – but it sounded horrible! Boring, teadious, simple. Not at all what he was hearing in his head. So Stefan invented an imaginary band! Four guys from a fairly big town who grew up together. A singer/guitarist, a bass player, a piano man and a drummer, all of them very much into british pop and rock music, mostly from the seventies and the late nineties. Suddenly the songs came, in loads! But since there was no band to record them, Stefan had to do that part himself. Not that he minds, owning his own recording studio... This made the songs sound different than they did in Stefan's head. Why? Well, Stefan is bread on country music. His father is a HUGE country fan and this music style is etched into Stefan's soul. Stefan has a kind of love-and-hate relationship to country music. In fact if you ask him, he will answer that he hates country music – but you can hear his american
influences in everything he sings or plays! So suddenly the songs became something else, a blend between two continents, brit pop meets the Eagles or something like that...

Anyway, we'll let you be the judge on what to call his music. For it is Stefan's beautiful melodies and his significant voice that holds the pieces together.
