Spottiswoode's UGLY LOVE is fast becoming a cult classic. Poppy and brooding at the same time, UGLY LOVE has been celebrated by critics around the country. The New Yorker calls Spottiswoode "a genius." The Washington Post describes the cd as "beautiful". "Gorgeous" exclaims North Carolina's Creative Loafing.
