'souls of sophie' is influenced by bands: The Chameleons UK, The Cure, OMD, Echo and the Bunnymen, DM, The Verve, Suede....to name a few. Since it's inception, the band has undergone several line-up changes as well as a few location changes. During this time, a limited edition self-titled debut EP, and a recently announced "dusk" EP has been released. In spite of its shaky past, the band continues to create sonic landscapes best described as "modern-wave": The mergence of post-punk style with modern sound and energy. Currently, the band is working on their first full length CD due out this fall.
