Sometimes Three started in mid-2005 when some old friends got together to kick around some tunes that were pent up inside them. It was your stereotypical garage jam session for the first few gatherings. Different people were showing up to each session, and each session went in a totally different direction. Some covers, some originals, some things felt good, many not so good.

We soon noticed that there were 3 of us that always showed up for the jam sessions (hence "Sometimes Three"), and eventually, we quit inviting others to play altogether. The sessions quit being stereotypical garage jams. The direction started to formalize. Some cover songs soon became no cover songs. Things started to feel good.

At that point we were Mike on drums, Josh on Bass and Chris on Guitar and Piano. Chris was knocking out at least one new original each week and we were doing all of our own recording in his home studio. We were only somewhat happy with our rough recordings, but happy enough to post them on a website where other people could listen and give us feedback. We soon had thousands of downloads from our site which isn't too much of a suprise because free music is free music and everyone takes it whether they like it or not. But, free or not, we were getting tons of great feedback from people that we didn't even know!

We decided that it was time to make our music sound the way we wanted it to sound. First things first, we needed a real bass player and voila... Parker enters the band. Sometimes Four??? The addition of Parker on bass moved Josh to lead guitar and gave Chris better support as the lead vocalist in the band.

Our final step was to get our music professionally recorded in a studio, which we did in fast and furious fashion. The result is our debut LP, All Eyes.

We hope you enjoy!
