Jupiter and Teardrop are a four piece band based in Glasgow, Scotland around singer/songwriter and founding member of Travis, Geoff Martyn. In 2002 Geoff released a live album recorded at a Czech Tea-Shop in Glasgow, Scotland featuring 10 songs - just one man, a guitar and a crowd full of bohemians, smoking apple blossom tobacco and drinking teas from around the world. Fast forward to 2004 and Geoff has a band around him. Oreste Gargaro on guitar, Steven Westwater on bass and DC Bowie on drums - the band go from strength to strength on the local Glasgow scene. Selling out the infamous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut three times in a row the band went on to release their debut EP 'Bring Me Down' on Buchanan Drive Records in June.
