AloneMe evolved from the songwriting partnership of Sarah Springett and David Booth who had been working together as 'SpringettBooth' since early 2001, with the addition of Simon Edgoose on drums & programming at the end of 2002. 2000 saw Derbyshire born singer/guitarist David release his debut solo album 'Open Season'. A mutual friend introduced him to Sarah who was looking for a songwriting partner and so began the 'SpringettBooth' partnership. Through regular gigging they started to build a strong reputation in the South East and recorded their debut album 'Because'. It was at one of these early gigs that they met drummer/programmer Simon Edgoose who was playing drums as part of a house band at one of their regular London venues. Two became three and the band name 'AloneMe' was plucked from the lyrics of the song 'Alone With Me'. The band started to put together their own studio in a converted pig pen deep in the countryside. This allowed them the freedom to develop their songs, sound and live set in their own space. Their first trio release was 'Target Practice' - a 5 track EP released in September 2003 on Sarah & David's label Nettle Records. May 2004 saw the release of the acoustic CD 'Room' recorded in their studio with none of the technology they had previously used. October 2004 saw the next addition to the AloneMe discography - 'Blurred Words' - a second 5 track EP bringing together the AloneMe strengths of big choruses, interweaving dual-vocals and plenty of harmonies. AloneMe have received strong support from radio and press including live sessions for the BBC, A-List rotation across the South East and Scotland, spot plays on commercial stations across the UK and Ireland and numerous articles in local publications and further afield. The band has gigged solidly throughout their time together with performances across the UK and Ireland including a number of festivals and radio roadshows. This continuous gigging has built a loyal fan base. For more information, visit the AloneMe website at www.aloneme.com Check out the artist's website: http://www.aloneme.com Track List: 1.
