Joe Condiracci has had performance ambitions, as far back as his days of doing Johnny Cash impressions in his parent's living room at age 3. He began guitar lessons at age 8. Joe, originally from Jon Bon Jovi's hometown, Sayreville, NJ, has settled in Hoboken, NJ. Joe has been entertaining NYC audiences as a solo artist, with NYC pop band The Green Rooftops and at the celebrated Loser's Lounge over the past few years. His latest project, 2 began as a concept for bringing together a duo that could make harmonious pop music. The original concept for 2 was created by Joe, in an effort to revive the classic duo such as the Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkle, yet give it a modern feel. Joe was introduced to David Leatherwood through a mutual friend, Eric Shenkman (Spindoctors), and decided to ask David to join him. Joe & David played together for just over 3 years, when David chose to move on and leave the 2 project behind. Joe is pushing ahead full force in order to capitalize on the progress his songs have made. Working under the 2 name as a solo artist, Joe feels the name means more than just the number of players in the project, but also resembles harmony in the universe, and completeness. Joe's songwriting and arranging abilities are proving strong enough to stand up to the biggest names in music as his single "Angel" continues to move up in the radio airplay charts. 2 has been performing regularly in the NYC metro area since early 1999, and has toured the NE and Ohio markets, playing both acoustically and with established band mates. Joe is preparing to embark on a solo Borders Book Tour encompassing the entire Northeast (13 stores as well as live performances, interviews and listener appreciation parties in 16 radio stations) to support the radio campaign. Self-titled, the band's debut 6-song EP is richly textured, subtly nuanced and explosive. This EP also features the contributions of such respected players as: Jane Scarpantoni (Cello), Leif Arntzen (Trumpet), Lorenza Ponce (Violin), and Andy Burton (Organ & Synth). Released through Albertine Records, the disc was engineered by Gene Holder, and produced by 2 & Gene Holder, at Jolly Roger Recording in Hoboken, NJ. Joe is currently working with legendary producer, Tom Dowd on a follow-up album. Check out the artist's website: http://www.2universe.net Track List: 1. Like a Train 2. You Mean to Me 3. Angel 4.
