SSF fancies itself a rock n' roll band. They can get you into things. Guitarist/singer Leo White has dared to say on many occasions, "If you can't stomp your foot to 'Hard to Breathe'...I'm sorry for you." The thing is, he means it. The band has rocked Boston area clubs for four years now including TT the Bear's Place, the Middle East, and Harper's Ferry.

Their debut album "Red Tree Music" (produced by Emaginary Records impresario Ian Hughes) is an eclectic collection of upbeat numbers that manage to catch the ear and go directly for the throat simultaneously. Scotty "2-Hotty" Finn, a loyal SSFan (definition: a member of perhaps the fastest growing fan-base this side of the Mississip), said it best when he exclaimed, "If those songs were girls, I'd let 'em buy me a drink." These guys are out to have a good ole time at their own expense, like your older brother who always provides the booze. Whether it be belting out rock n' roll pop-tabulousness or "givin' it some" large onstage: They aim to please. No shoegazing. No shirtlifting. No sh*t. Amen.
