This is the debut from Max Vague. Jumping directly into an idie life, not waiting for that magic "brass ring" of a record deal, Max recorded this collection of songs in the span of 8 months. With a little help from his friends, co-producers James Schaller and Michael Bondelli, "Love In A Thousand Faces" was born. Remember, indie music at this time was mainly in the Nirvana/Pearl Jam/Bush genre, and this CD shows absolute disregard for those omni-present styles, instead focusing on his Beatles meets Peter Gabriel synth leanings. There are many different directions on this disc, from ethereal to pop, from folkish to downright dark. The title track, and "Wheels Are In Motion" were revisited in alternate forms on 1998's "Kill The Giant." All of the copies of this disc were signed, dated and numbered before shrink wrapping all those years ago. Check out the artist's website: http://maxvague.com Track List: 1.
