My Life of Crime is the follow-up to the much-acclaimed Daddy's Little Girl (also here at CD Baby).

Every ounce of blood, sweat and fears that went into DLG went into this little gem as well, and some of my very best work resides on it.

Perhaps my personal favorite is "On Any Other Day," which is a song about child abuse, but from the abuser's point of view. While many of us have been victimized at some point in our lives by abuse--and perhaps struggled from the fallout it caused--it's quite a shocking revelation to find that we, too, are capable of sitting in that particular driver's seat--acting out at full speed ahead from our own subconscious, causing wreckage we never dreamed that we, too, could be capable of.

That song purged a lot of ghosts for me. After I wrote it, the nightmares stopped.

Like DLG, this disc was a darling of critics, but illness forced me to back off on promotion, so it didn't get the full widespread notice that DLG did.

But I adore it, still, and you might, too.

I'm currently trying to get CD Baby to get all song clips up, so please be patient.

Thanks for visiting me here at CD Baby, and swing by my web site sometime soon! I'd like to know who you are, whether you buy or not.
