Marty Wylder is an artist searching for simple love in a complicated world. His debut album, "When You Came Around," follows him through this journey documenting an ill-fated relationship from beginning to end. It opens with an untainted, idealistic view of what love could and "should" be in "Ignorance Is Bliss." Its final track, "You and I," is a stripped down, bare bones plea which pines for his lost love to come back and try one last time. A singer/songwriter at heart, Marty Wylder is not just another balladeer armed with an acoustic guitar. He treats each song as its own entity, with its own style. He'll bring an accordion or a whole orchestra along if he needs to, in order to get his message across, all-the-while, remaining unpretentious and true to himself. "When You Came Around" is an honest record from an honest songwriter. Wylder is an eclectic multi-instrumental artist whose diverse songs range from Beatles-esque pop tunes (Sweet Embrace) to dark, early Radiohead-like anthems (Vigor) with simple folk-pop songs in between. He has been compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Paul Simon, George Harrison, and Nick Drake. Check out the artist's website: http://www.martywylder.com Track List: 1. Intro 2.
