Q: Where is Every Damn Day from?
A: The band hails from New Jersey's Passaic County, which is in the north-central part of the state, about a half-hour west of Manhattan.
Q: How long has the band been together?
A: Every Damn Day formed in January 1991.
Q: Ohmigod, how old are you guys?
A: Pretty old. Nobody bothers that guy in Everclear about it, so don't bother us.
Q: Who are your influences?
A: It all starts with the three "Bs": Beatles, Buddy Holly, Burt Bacharach. After that, it depends on which band member you ask. Mike Daly would say Johnny Thunders and the Smithereens. Jimmy would say Kansas and King Crimson. John would say Elvis Costello and Stevie Wonder. Richie would say Redd Kross and Motley Crue.
Q: Who do you sound like?
A: All of the above. Plus Green Day, the Gin Blossoms, Weezer, Fastball and the "Rent" soundtrack.
Q: Where do you play?
A: Uncle Roy's, Van Houten Ave. in Clifton, N.J. Sometimes other places. Usually Roy's.
Q: Why aren't you totally famous yet?
A: Because you haven't told your friends about us yet, snappy!
