Alan and the Alligators “Reptile Rock†is a catchy collection of electric rock, funk, pop and blues (with some acoustic songs) all featuring excellent songwriting and musicianship. Rather than wait to be categorized, the album is titled to let the unfamiliar know that what the Alligators play is called “Reptile Rock.†(I.E.M. Records # 01259-1. Copyright & Published by: Instant Earthling Music, BMI.) The CD “Reptile Rock†has been added at over 75 Radio Stations across the US and Canada. It has received significant critical acclaim and attained two Top Ten Chart positions in Connecticut and Delaware as reported by CMJ. The Alligators hope you like the CD “Reptile Rock,†listen to it loudly and often, and purchase copies frequently, as they make splendid gifts! Artist Biography: It was gathered around a kitchen table, after a lengthy jam session in 1989, that a group of friends from the Boston, Massachusetts area, decided to name their new band “Alan and the Alligators†(not surprisingly, Alan was at that table). A year later, Jon joined the group, and shortly after that, Erik. At times the Alligators have been a six-piece band, but since about 1995 they have been a trio comprised of Alan, Erik and Jon (with an occasional “Guest Gatorâ€). Now, over a decade after that fateful kitchen table gathering, you have an opportunity to own the very first Alligators album on CD.
