PiNKSTON, formed in 1999, are a relatively new band of seasoned veterans. Drummer Ben Burt spent several years touring and recording with Brutal Juice (Interscope Records) and singer/bassist Beth Lewis was formerly in art-noise combo rubberbullet. Guitarists Josh Daugherty and Ean Parsons round out the quartet. "It would be more accurate to refer to Pinkston as a new machine built from familiar parts, the same car with a bigger engine and better stereo."
