Jaime Hernández (voice and guitar), Alfonso Bonmatí (guitar solo) and Gullermo Bonmatí (drums) formed Parkinson DC in 1991. They kept on mind all of pop classics The Beatles, The Beach Boys or Big Star, and fall on the feet of American underground bands such as The Stooges, VU, Pixies, Screaming Trees, Dinosaur Jr. Their debut album, "Overdream", soon became a top-seller at his home-label Munster Records. Following the release of "Green Fields" the band got to meet Ken Stringfellow, whom listened to the band and decided to produce them from then on. The mini album "Don't let your hair grow too long" was released just before that. Ther first LP with Ken Stringfellow (The Posies), entitled "Albanige", and the four track EP: "Watcher in the Sky" were to follow (Many would consider these four tracks as a reflection of the Pink Floyd side of the band). In 1997, they released "Still in Spain", an album with a more rock'n'roll -orientated attitude of unmistakable American sound. Their shows were a great example of a flat live sound. Everybody who has been in them has appreciated it. Pop with vocal harmonies that fuse with sound in its pure state. Joe Skyward (The Posies) produced some of their releases.
