This CD was my first foray into independent music. The title track "Too Long Away" held the NO. 1 spot on MP3 Songs Top Unsigned Artists Chart for 3 weeks! www.mp3songs.org.uk Too Long Away garnered: 1. A Billboard Songwriting Award (Too Long Away) 2. Three NAMA (Northwest Area Musician Association) Award Nominations: Best New Artist, Best Adult Contemporary Album, Best Rock Vocal 3. An exhibition spot in the Wing Luke Museum Exhibit: A Bridge Home; Music in the Lives of Asian-Pacific Islanders. 4. Too Long Away is being invited to appear on a compilation cd marketed to radio and labels. The Story of Too Long Away This album was 90% recorded in my basement on an 8-track. It's true! Lots of bouncing of tracks. Special thanks go to co-producer Tom Frodsham, David Lange of David Lange Studios, and Bob Boeck, Martin Audio. I'm just a girl from Algona, raised with dirt between my toes. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner; yup, there's mold growing in my armpits. My Influences: Too many! But I do love the Beatles.
