This album is a pictoral representation of Alaska through the seasons. Artist-composer Heather Burch Adrian has done a beautiful job of blending her love of classical violin with bluegrass/Irish and vogue fiddle to create a lovely and lively look at her beloved Alaska through its four seasons. Moving through the warm months with bluegrass fiddle, piano and vocals, her music evokes images of spring growth, sunwashed summer mountains and trails to be wandered. Swinging its way among Irish jigs, bluegrass and classical, the album weaves on through fall and winter. Of particular note is a lively piece that invokes an almost comic relief as the return of spring after a long and dreary winter, and reflect perhaps just a touch of cabin fever. Track List: 1.
