Chlorophyll, a modern rock trio from Northern New Jersey, possesses a quality that seems to be lost in today's music; truly original sound. Since their incarnation three years ago, Chlorophyll's unique, provocative vibe and the compelling voice of Pat Jamieson has been capturing the attention of music fans. With lyrics that seize the human spirit and stirring musical arrangements, Chlorophyll's music is a collaboration of each member, making them a genuine "band" in every sense of the word. The trio's music can best be described as darkly driven, but euphorically delivered, reaching out to its listeners and incorporating a sense of relativity. The release of their first album, Chlorophyll was a veritable success, landing the group a five-show commitment as opening act for the Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos "5 1/2 Weeks" tour. While on tour the band was featured on the CBS show "Wild Web TV", which aired in Los Angeles, New York, and the E! Network nationally. The group was recently named as "best new unsigned band" by WJSE, (Atlantic City), nominated for song of year, "Transmission" by The ABP Music Awards, and won the "Local Licks Web Vote" for best unsigned band on WHTG, South Jersey. They were also selected this summer as the opening band for Joydrop at the Ocean City Music Pier. Due to the heavy volume of listener call-in responses after being featured on the Stacey X Show on WRAT, Belmar, NJ, Chlorophyll was named "feature band of the week" receiving daily air-play. Chlorophyll's singles, "Caffeine", "Sunny Day Suicide" and "Transmission" can now be heard over the airwaves in Philadelphia (Y100), Columbus, OH (WWCD), Long Island, NY (WLIR), Belmar, NJ (WRAT), Atlantic City (WJSE), and Southern New Jersey (WHTG).
