The pop/rock trio Ambershed was initially founded in the Fall of 2003. Founding members Adam Therrien and Dave Lavallee met in West Hartford at the Hartt School of Music and began writing and recording their self-titled demo (released 2/6/04). The duo performed at numerous bars and coffee shops until the time was right to produce a full-length album - as a band. "This is Our Home... The Frenzy of Fear" is the result and was recorded in the Spring/Summer of 2004 (with a lending hand from fellow peer and drummer, Eric Arena). With the album now available (released 12/1/04), Ambershed is performing in the New England area with new drummer, Jake Harvey. Recent reviews of Ambershed's live performances have seen such worthy praise that Dave has even been compared to former Ozzy-guitarist and legend, Randy Rhodes by the former's mother-in-law. If you haven't heard "This is Our Home..." you're missing out on the BEST self-produced and acoustic-based rock music to come out of the New England area.
