I have been writing songs for 39 years and have had so many close calls it would chill your bones...like being told to FedEx "When Love's Not Around" (#4) to Whitney Houston's producer as it had been chosen for her next CD (projected income: $250,000.00 non-hit CD) and then it just "doesn't happen", like a woman pregnant for nine months and she goes into the delivery room and and after all the throwing up and weight gain and discomfort, being told by the doctor that "There ain't no baby in there, and I ain't got no 'splanation, Lucy!". Jeezuz! Just repeat the story for Paula Abdul for #'s 5, 9 and 12. Most important - they are killer dance, rock and ballad songs you'll love.
