Singer, songwriter, musician for over 25 years. Heavily influenced by the big bands and be-bop of the 40's, the rock & roll pioneers of the 50's, the Motown revolution and british invasion of the 60's, and the funk and fusion of the seventies. Doug started down the songwriting path at the age of 15 with his partner Jeff Davis Cooper. After many years in and out of semi succesful groups in Southern and Northern California, Doug has focused his energies producing for himself and a series of other artists on the swrecords.net label. His sound is a blend of old school soul / funk (Sly & The Family Stone and Earth Wind & Fire) and rockabilly / pop (The Everly Bros.& The Beatles).Doug Cash is currently distributed to college radio across the United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, India and Spain.
