This, the first Billy Gash and Penny Lane cd, is chock full of catchy upbeat pop rock songs with blendings of personal heart felt lyrics and seductive vocal stylings that are all Billy Gash. A very cohesive and fun batch of 13 songs makes this an enjoyable 52 minutes of listening almost anytime-anywhere. Also featured is "Got my Heart" off 1999's Slam Compilation cd released in Europe. Sadly though, while in the middle of mixing this cd, Billy's mother died on Thanksgiving 1998. "..........it was a very rough time for me. I went through so many emotional roller coasters trying to deal with alot of feelings. I was very lucky to write and play "I See You Wherever I Go" for mom, at the funeral. And since people liked and asked for a copy of the song, it just reassured and confirmed to me the importance for this song to be added at the last minute, before printing would begin to start. With the mixing of the whole cd finally complete and a cd release date set all i had to do next was the art and design layout for the cd. I am usually very good with layout, design and marketing but then my father passed away February 18, 1999, leaving me deeper in a hole i was already trying to climb out of. I couldnt hang on. I had to leave the art work to someone else and for this i am sorry. Sorry for you and more importantly, sorry for me because i know what i am capable of doing.
