Bachelier (pronounced bah-shil-ee-aye) is a singer/ songwriter who started writing songs at the tender age of 12. His influences span from classic rock to alternative with a bit of country/bluegrass mixed in. He has written close to 400 songs in his lifetime many that reflect his personal experiences and his social concerns. In the song "Dear Michael", he corresponds via email with a friend who finds difficulty understanding why he has been unable to help the native americans he so urgently wishes to help. In frustration, the friend gives up claiming, "I was so close to them, I could touch but they were so far from me." The release of Bachelier/Change met with much success having received airplay on some 50 to 60 radio stations in all four states in which it was sent: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia. This represented 25 to 30% of the stations the cd was sent to. Not bad, considering the fact that no record company or outside promotional source was used in the endeavor. The cd also had a number of write ups in newspapers, most notably "The Cincinnati Enquirer". Mike Bachelier continues to write and is currently working on another cd. He plays music locally in the Cincinnati area, singing and playing the six instruments he has mastered: guitar, keyboards, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and recorder. Track List: 1. Over Me 2. My Heart Breaks 3. Dear Michael 4. More Than Before 5. All By Myself 6. Something's Wrong 7. Here To Serve 8. Lonely Boy Other Genres:
