"Genesis" is a remastering and compilation of my early material featuring and unusual and eclectic mix of material with some real stand-out material like "Up the Rebel", a rebellious anthem I wrote in memory of Bob Flavin, who headed my telecommunications union for much of his life and who was dearly loved for his determined and aggressive willingness to fight for "his" people. The title of the song comes from the motto of an ancient Irish rebellion against their British overlords and is still our motto today. Ellen Oakes Kerr supplies some helpful harmony vocals. All the tunes were originally recorded in Gary Holt's studio and remastered there as well. I can't say enough about Gary's contributions to my albums. He is the finest musician and musical production technician I have ever met. Although these are earlier songs, they sparkle with Gary's modern studio wizardry and I am sure you will enjoy them.
