In the fall of 1967, during the intermission at a sock hop held at a V.F.W. hall in Bryan, Texas, a local garage band, The Invaders, were huddled around a small parking lot passing a joint and discussing their next set. Dismissing an eerie hovering visage of saucer shaped lights as merely the oncoming effects of good Mexican cannabis, the boys were overcome by a powerful torrent of bright light and forced aboard an alien spacecraft. Despite exhaustive efforts by law enforcement agencies including the F.B.I. and Interpol, The Invaders simply vanished from the face of the earth.

In March of '99, Craig Davis, the songwriter of the group, was mysteriously returned to earth; rudely deposited behind an all night adult video arcade on the outskirts of Roswell, New Mexico. He was stunned to learn that 35 years had passed and was forced to accept certain truths; most notably, the demise of the Beatles, the absence of bell bottomed jeans and the heartbreaking realization that it would be inappropriate to hang around the high school parking lot anymore. He wept unashamedly upon learning that his A & W root beer location had been razed years earlier. He was momentarily comforted by the knowledge that the Stones were still touring, but this was tempered by the sad reality that Brian Jones had drowned. "Brian was the brains behind that group, man, they'll never be the Stones without him," Craig commented glumly.

Despite the obvious disorientation and culture shock, Craig decided to pick up exactly where he had left off and continue to play music. Still embracing the innocence and idealism of the mid-60's he has recorded two albums: 1998's ANOTHER WEIRD ROUTINE DAY and the just released fab new collection, REVOLUTION ROAD, hand signed and numbered by Craig Davis.
