Attention all pop fanatics! FDR (Face Down Records) is proud to announce release of Funny Pages, the debut CD from South Jersey pop freaks - Blank Pages!

Blank Pages proudly recorded the Funny Pages CD under the influence of Jason Falkner, the Raspberries, the Knack and Superdrag. Greg Potter, guitarist and songwriter from Blank Pages, goes so far to say that, "during the recording and mixing process of Funny Pages, I was trying to emulate the sound of the pop classic Get the Knack. It's not as heavy as most power-pop, with cleaner guitar tones and lots of energy from a great drummer." The band recorded using vintage gear to capture the chiming guitars and tasty hooks most often associated with great 70s pop.

Blank Pages is hot off of their fine contribution, "Nevermind", to the FDR Replacements tribute, Left of the Dial. After hearing their jangly guitars and 60s influenced melodies you would more likely expect to hear the band on a Beatles tribute disc. Face Down Records expects any true pop lover to go crazy over this CD. Blank Pages will be supporting the release with regional showcases, college-radio interviews, and in-store performances.
