The Tolley and Martin Project: Mortal Dreams is a collaborational CD between Dr. David Tolley, an international composer and performer for film and television, & Timothy Martin, a progressive rocker on bass and keyboards. Vocals were sung by Betsy Pizzo and she co wrote the lyrics on the title track #1 Mortal Dreams and Hear Me Calling. The concept of the recording is to provide an ecclectic mix of tunes fit for Television, dance clubs and film. Cleverly, Mortal Dreams makes allusion to many of the artists who had a great influence on us, including, Pink Floyd, Yes, Enigma and Vangelis. We acknowledge these influences and pay our tribute to the rock Godz. Hope you enjoy Mortal Dreams. They make great presents for people of all ages. More Bio: David is a two- time Grammy nominee for his Off Broadway musical Valentino.( Best producer and best song in an off Broadway musical). David is now a professor of Music at Ohio State University, leading the film score and television/animation department. David has already written 14 major musicals, published over one thousand songs, written hundreds of episodes for television and is one of the main composers for the BMG music film library. He has over 65 albums written and self produced and is considered one talented Maestro. Timothy Martin, is the executive producer, lyricist, bassit, co-keyboard player and the Owner of Nature's Guardian Records. This is only the first of several projects Tolley & Martin are planning to produce. Future projects include:solo DVD releases, Timothy Martin's Visual Music, a progressive-rock CD, and a contemporary rock musical. Currently, Timothy is now producing his third solo project; a new age/contemporary rock instrumental album, which has been picked up for release as a DVD about Yellowstone National Park.
