Prince was raised in New Orleans, a city that has a long tradition of providing great music, both jazz and gospel.After being involved in various gospel groups, he felt as if he was not able to really express the way that he really felt about God. He developed his own style of gospel after participating in various groups.he finally decided to go it alone, because his style of music was just as the artist formerly known as Prince's, music was, "ahead of it's time" His song titled "Where to Go" is a gospel song that is about eastern meditation. If you expect to hear traditional gospel here you are in the wrong place. His first CD titled "Back to Love", is actually new age/spiritual type music.
