Proceeds from the sale of this CD will be donated to the Brattleboro Drop-in Center, offering food to the hungry, and to Aids Project Southern VT. Hope for peace and equality. Thoughts that inspired this music When we cannot accept the evil that is in us, then we are trapped by projecting it on and attacking it in others. We all need a "them." Technology tends to isolate us from a more personal experience of ourselves and our others. No government, program, or organization can bring about peace. For organizing in such ways bears the weight of a mission that is inherently self-interested. Hunger is a firewall between a human being and the path to peace. The major terror that threatens our world is the fact that all are not treated equally. The truth is ever harder to find as our lives and their media draw us ever outside of ourselves for versions of the truth. The only Truth is deep within us. When you listen to this music - do nothing. Sit or lie in a comfortable place - or take me to the silence of the forests and do nothing but listen to yourself breathe. Breathe deeply for it is life. Keep returning to that place of sameness - that is you. There you will the find the still familiarity of self. Pharaohs called upon their harpists not for entertainment but for healing.
