Kuan Yin is the goddess of compassion - the Bodhisattva of Compassion. In the Buddhist tradition a "bodhisattva" is a person who delays his or her full enlightenment in order to aid in the liberation or enlightenment of others. Kaun Yin is the most universally revered goddess in Asia, China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. As our Western culture begins to embrace the feminine within us all on a deeper level, Kuan Yin is finding her way into our hearts and spiritual journey. She comes to our shores in a timely manner, as embracing compassion can create self-love and compassion in our lives. Kuan Yin is said to answer all prayers and come to the assistance of those in need. She takes numerous forms. In the Chinese tradition she comes in female form and is the same loving energy as Mother Mary and Tara. She is also known as the Asian male figure, Avalokitesvara, the god- bodhisattva of compassion, who was brought from India to China. The Chinese embraced the feminine aspects and Avalokitesvara became Kuan Yin. Experience a meditation written by Susan to help embrace self-love and self-compassion through the Kuan Yin Chi. Susan prays Kuan Yin will help many feel love and compassion, because Kuan Yin is truly loving us all. Check out the artist's website: http://www.susanpaige.com Track List: 1.
