Composer/Singer Tia Knight, born in 1969 in Meridian, Mississippi, had a strong love of the piano at an early age, sparked by her grandmother, Star. Moving on to keyboards in her early twenties, she discovered how to weave sounds both gripping and focused. Blackwood, her debut release in 1999 is a journey not only to another time, but to another place. Homequest, released in 2003 breeds a collection of tunes filled with bewitching vocals and laced with Medieval overtones.
