ABOUT ANNAPURNA Annapurna weaves sutras and mantras into musical prayers for sacred journeys. She improvises with the renown Shafqat Ali Khan on the musical CD "Beyond the Beyond" and makes her solo debut on "Mother of the Mystery" for Beyond the Beyond Records. Her music has been broadcast around the world and was recently featured on the "Hearts of Space" radio program. Annapurna is a disciple of HH Dudjom Rinpoche, who was head of the Nyingma Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. She also studied with HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and the Zen master Suzuki Roshi. She was named Annapurna by the Indian saint Neem Karoli Baba Maharaj-ji. Annapurna practices Chinese Medicine in California.
