Vortex syndrome began as a exploratory guitar theme that would weave itself through variations and reprisals. With the additions of percussion, bass, keyboards and several more layers of that original theme, we strove to create mental scenes of travel and adventure. Though the guitar was the main focus, we had a few influences in common and brought different experiences to flavor the mix.
