Formed in 1997, current members include Chris Matyus - guitar, Greg Wagner - vocals, Jamie Still - bass and Keith Zeigler - Drums. Archetype released "Archetype", a 4 song demo CD in October, 1998. In December, 1998 they teamed up with Greg and released a 4 song EP "Hands Of Time" in March, 1999. After finishing the recording of their first full length CD "Dawning" in early 2000, the band spent the remainder of the year promoting it to various labels. Unhappy with the production of the CD, they decided to re-record the CD themselves and have officially released "Dawning" in February, 2002.
