THE BAND. Superchrist, a three piece from Hellsinki Finland is here to hit rock with a big beat. While disturbing the world of pop music we have done so far a quite a lot gigs and self-released a load of good shit. Of course the bass goes to eleven and guitars might sometimes get beaten up but that's what it takes. Blow up your ears, reflect what you hear and let it go. THE PEOPLE. Superchrist started out in March 2000 as Jesuschrist. The band was founded by Mikko and Lassi from the basis of Cesar Legba Band, and was joined by Jarkko a/k/a Stacey Goddard from the very same hard rock group. We did two EP's with Jarkko until January 2001, when Sonja came to fill the slot. Also by that we started call us Superchrist. After two and a half years with Sonja we took a short break and came back in end of 2003 with Minttu of Grumps on bass. THE SOUND. Spacepunk? Discogrunge? Electrostonerrock? Industrial shoegazing?
