Myndkill was officially born on the internet in November of 2004 when Joe and Anthony met Vocalist Abby and former Keyboardist Brant that was when the writing of the music and story for the CD came about ...flash to March 2006 we have finished our first CD it will be going to the mastering and pressing facility on Mar,10,2006 ... This was all recorded in an apartment on the PC with an M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound card using an inexpensive Behringer UB2442FX-Pro mixer and a Bellari MP110 tube mic pre almost all of the guitars are recorded using a Behringer V-Amp Pro and the Drums are an acoustic kit with mesh heads and Ddrum triggers going into an Alesis DM Pro drum module , The Vocals are recorded using a Behringer B1 Condenser mic,The keys were recorded by Brant Astleford using a Korg Triton with an Alesis QS8.2 Keyboard and Anthony and Joe Tangredi using an M-Audio Keystation 49e with Calkwalk Project 5 synth workstation... We used Cakewalk Sonar 3 producer with a fairly small amount of plugins that I wont share and Steinberg Wavelab for editing and thats about it all the drums are played by a real drummer not sequenced and all instruments were done by actual musicians this is how we sound Hope you all like it :-)....Heres part of the story this is CD is based on : Moonlight shimmered off the ice heavy trees in the valley below, painting a crystal forest to the eye. This was the night I was to go retrieve my prey whose dreams I stalked, so this was no ordinary night. As I descended the path down away from the temple into the forest; bold steps each in the direction of my uncertainty. I looked over my moon garden now dying from the cruel breath of winter and hoped it was not an omen for the coming days. as I crossed the field outside the shelter of the woods and glimpsed four hooded figures on horses by a covered bridge they spotted me and immediately gave chase I ran as fast as I could summoning an unnatural speed but still they gained on me....
