mEkanikal sOul began as a concept by James "V7" DeBower to enfuse extreme heavy metal and industrial music to create a formiddable listening experience. Since July of 1999 there have been several releases both on CD and cassette tapes. One thing is for certain - the creativity and extremely dark nature of a mEkanikal sOul recording always warrants more than one listen.

The project began as mEchanical sOul:The Terraformer, after seeing the shortened mEchanical sOul on the internet, it appeared necessary to change the name but to put it closer to terms of Germanic linguistics and written language as opposed to Anglo-the reasoning "It looks a hell of a lot better-it looks how it should be pronounced"

Now having matured as a song writer and vocalist mEkanikal sOul is becoming more politically and socially conscious and has become a voice not against George W Bush and Republicans, but the whole political system of America for selling our beliefs and standpoints to investments for other countries and the extreme upper class.
