A brutal and chaotic blend of death, grind, crust, sludge and hardcore is what makes The Seventh Gate so dynamic. The Seventh Gate plays straight up, dirty, raunchy, downright disgusting Satan Rock.

The Seventh Gate was formed in October of 2000 by Nick, Steve and Paul Littlefield.

A short 5 song demo, The Bane of Your Existence, was released in January of 2001, and re-released as a 4 song demo, Satan Rock, several months later. Many bassists have come and gone (Ashley Stride, Andre Weldy, Parker Chandler) but The Seventh Gate has not been able to find a dedicated bassist as of yet.

The Seventh Gate has continously played, minus a bassist, and in August of 2001, recorded their debut full length, None So Bloody as the Kingdom Of Christ.

Shortly after, they picked up a second guitarist, Mike Krasnow. Founding member and original drummer Paul Littlefield has recently parted ways with the band and has been replaced by Mike Beer.

Shortly after the drummer switch, Mike Krasnow was released and The Seventh Gate is once again a three piece. They are currently writing new material for upcoming split cd and pushing the full length - None So Bloody as the Kingdom of Christ.
