The band was started by Jonathan Weber and Devin Vansickle 2 years ago. Bassist Dave Holland joined about half way through writing this album. We worked on writing material to be cut to CD for about a year before we tried to complete the lineup. During this time, Dave Holland realized he was a homosexual. It was then decided that he was human garbage, so we kicked him out of the band. After going through numerous temps, we finally came across drummer Felicien Sirois who took the drumming position full time. During the time Felicien joined, "Beneath a Pale Lit Sky" was being mixed. We then began rehearsing the material with Felicien for our live shows. During this time we acquired guitarist Joe Crocher and keyboardist Bridgid Kasper. After months of getting nowhere, the band erupted in a stereotypical "Black Metal" style leaving everyone pissed off at each other. Devin and Bridgid decided to leave and Joe went with. Felicien and Jonathan decided to start a new project while keeping some of the old songs that had been rearranged. While restructuring "Midnight Mass" it was decided that Midnight Mass was no more. Midnight Mass was Jonathan and Devin's weekend project that got larger than we originally anticipated. Since the lineup and ultimate goal of the band changed, so has the name and members. Original founder Jonathan and original drummer Felicien have decided to take the music to the next level. Rather than start fresh we decided to keep some old songs off of this CD. Our main intention with the music is to change your mood from happy/pleasant/passive to vengeful/murderous/and aggressive. If you don't achieve that, then we know that we have failed as musicians...
