A Five member Musical outfit Hailing from Sarasota Florida that overcomes their personal differences with a common bond of thinking and dreaming on the "Outside". Since the start of 2004 A New Way Down has brought their own brand of sound to individuals all over. A Dark,Melodic,Hard Hitting,In Your Face,Thinking person's sound that has pleased many listeners from different walks of life. ANWD's Team is made up of Artists ranging from its seasoned veteran core players to their extrememly talented,younger,up & coming artists. Brian Hulliger, the groups main vocals is a veteran artist with a knowledge of all music and instruments. He possesses a strong work ethic,mind bending lyrics,an unusual tone,and a very strong presence.Brian is one half of the veteran core of the band and is also the Co-founder. Ceci Shaw...the other co-founder,makes up the other half of the groups veteran core.Ceci is a very respected artist everywhere with a musical talent that most envy. Highly skilled at all instruments and other musical aspects, Ceci is a valued member. He is the groups percussionist and adds much style and flavor to ANWD's music with his World wide knowledge of Drumming and rythms. Chris Crawford...one of the newer generation talents,Is one of the two guitarists. Chris is a talented player that works and strives for perfection. A great live performer and writer. Chris is responsible for many of the erie and suttle sounds that you hear layered into ANWD's signature sound. Jerry Michael is the groups other guitarist. He comes from a long family history of great musicians and is one of ANWD's main song writers. Jerry feels extremely deep in his creations and is a consistant driving force in the groups creative process. He is the youngest member who's popularity has sort of deemed him the group's mascot. Dave Barcena was the last addition to the group at the Bass guitar position. A loyal member with great creativity. Spends most of his time writing and creating music no matter what time of day it is. A great composer that never limits himself to just one genre. With the varied range of sound,influence,style,feeling and talent that A NEW WAY DOWN contains, It will be a constant provider of Music and entertainment to generations of Sound Enthusists everywhere.
