As one of the premier alternative-metal acts in Columbus, Ohio, 30ot6 (Thirty Ought Six) has a unique mixture of aggression and melody to captivate their listeners, whether it is a live performance, or in the player, 30ot6 is the center of attention. They pride themselves with sounding as good as, or better than their disk live, making sure the audience has the time of their lives. With influences from bands such as Faith No More, Rage Against The Machine, and the R.H.C.P., the band and their music are focused with high energy and melody. Stage antics from vocalist Brent Billet fuels the rest of the band’s fire, propelling guitarist Derrick Zajac, and bassist Sean Miller, to partake in the band’s rowdy stage show, which is all being driven by drummer Tim Dillard’s hard-hitting, groove-oriented beats.

30 Ought's Self-titled release is there first fully produced CD released in 2005. Since then, the band has recorded more material that is showcased on their website and on myspace. Check out 4 new songs available for download at: www.myspace.com/30ot6 . They also released a full length DVD/home video containing theatrical videos, live performances, and bloopers. Watch for their full length CD to be released in the fall of 2006, which will be available through CD Baby.
