Archer is as good an example as any to approach the theory of the commodity instead of the majority. A proven longevity, loyal audience following, and that ever presence of tasteful rock. Archer has an ongoing promotional campaign of original materiel in which great time and effort are focused. The band was originally formed in 1983 by Steve Lewis. In 1992, Archer released their debut album which was a success both in sales and on local air play in the greater Cincinnati area. Beginning in 2002 Archer underwent a transformation of members leaving only it's original founders, Steve Lewis and Jamie Ackley unshaken and unscaved. Archer, with it's new and dynamic lineup has just released their third album. Archer continues to evolve building upon the music they believe in. From what I can see, Archer is a band which has managed to survive as the rock scene has changed. All the while keeping their loyal fan base and the will to color outside the lines of Rock. Archer's plan is simple, good straight forward rock with projected future achievements. Archer is set for lengthy stay in the music scene.
