Josefus released an independent album in 1970 that is still being sold today. Their Dead Man LP has been reissued by several U.S. and European labels, and the original is listed in Hans Pokora's "1001 Record Collector Dreams" as a "very rare" item. International critics with many different publications and web sites have called Josefus one of the best underground bands from that era. They were on the leading edge of original music that was evolving from 60s psych to 70s heavy. This 2002 release contains recordings spanning the years 1967 to 1979, and is the first ever from the band to include live concert performances. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = WHAT THEY'VE SAID ABOUT JOSEFUS AND THIS CD: "A compelling package...including a well done sixteen page booklet...a great overview of this incredible band." --- Hellride Music (USA) "Pure psychedelic acid mayhem...a timeless release by an essential band." --- GL Productions (Sweden) "Josefus goes where Mouse and the Traps only imagined going, and for this brief moment in time went places that ZZ Top never quite found." --- Kevin Rathert on Amazon.com Check out the artist's website: http://www.jam280.com/josefus.html Track List: 1.
