Biography A talent is not necessarily something that you are born with; instead, it is a passion that you develop throughout the years. After that, it becomes who you are, it is the mere description of your life and the way you see the world. And what a better fit than Giovanni, he is not your typical “singer.†He has built his music using his life experiences as the perfect tool to shape what now is his biggest passion. Growing up in an environment that had everything but a musical influence, he used the rest to create what now is “Every End Is A Beginning.†“Every End Is A Beginning†is a fusion of different elements coming together creating a sound that can be categorized as Latin Pop/Rock. Included in this fusion are Giovanni’s biggest influences: Classic and Rock music along with his Latin folk music and other world rhythms. The combination of these sounds come together hand in had with Giovanni’s approach to his music, creating a unique and refreshing sound. Every song in this album is also a recompilation of twenty-five years in this journey that we call life; his biggest influences have been things that we can all relate to. Things like coming to a foreign country and leaving everything behind in hope for better things, changing your entire way of living and be part of a society that you didn’t even know it existed and in addition; the endless fight to strive for what you believe in and for making your dreams a reality. The journey hasn’t been easy for Giovanni, and it’s only starting. But what a great start, to be able to express yourself in such a way that can reach so many. Reach those who like Giovanni, have been sharing the same journeys and have achieved similar goals but felt like they were the only ones following the same path. Growing up in Colombia, he came to the United States when he was only fourteen years old. Giovanni encountered many obstacles that formed the person that he is; those experiences also influenced his music by incorporating a variety of views and emotions towards life. As he continued his new life in this country, he achieved many goals, one of which was pursuing his music career by obtaining a Bachelor of Music Technology from New York University in 2004. This album is the dream of a person whose sensitivity and honesty has allowed him to put his life into words and whose talent helped to create the music that is “Every End Is A Beginning.†So let the music and the words talk to you about the artist, and keep and open mind to what they are because you never know when a complete stranger can be able to relate to one or many of your own life’s experiences. ----------------------------------------------------------------- BiografÃa Un talento no es necesariamente algo con el cual uno nace, si no es la pasión que desarrollas con el pasar de los años. Después se convierte en la persona que eres; es el reflejo de tu vida y la forma en la que ves el mundo. Y que mejor ejemplo que Giovanni, él no es el tÃpico “cantante.†Él ha construido su música utilizando sus propias experiencias como las herramientas perfectas para crear lo que ahora es su pasión más grande. Creciendo en un ambiente en donde lo habÃa todo excepto una influencia musical, él utilizo lo demás para crear lo que ahora es “Every End Is A Beginning.†“Every End Is A Beginning†es la fusión de diferentes elementos que se unen para formar un sonido que se puede categorizar como Pop/Rock Latino. Incluido en tal fusión, están las influencias más grandes de Giovanni, que son la música Clásica y el Rock en compañÃa de su folclor Latino asà como otros ritmos mundiales. Cada canción en este disco es la recopilación de veinticinco años en esta jornada que llamamos vida. Sus influencias más grandes han sido cosas que muchos podamos compartir; cosas como el inmigrar a un paÃs diferente, abandonar todo con la esperanza de un mejor futuro, cambiar tu estilo de vida y ser parte de una sociedad la cual no sabias que existÃa. Además, la lucha constante que es defender las cosas en las cuales crees y sobretodo la lucha tan grande que es el realizar tus sueños. El camino no ha sido fácil para Giovanni, y sólo ha comenzado. Pero que mejor manera de comenzar, que ser capaz de expresarse de tal manera que llegue a tantas personas. Aquellas que como Giovanni, han compartido experiencias similares al igual que metas; pero que como él sintieron que eran los únicos en ese camino. Nacido en Colombia, él vino a los Estados Unidos a los catorce años de edad. Durante estos años, él ha tropezado por muchos obstáculos, los cuales ayudaron a formar la persona que es ahora. Al mismo tiempo, esas experiencias sirvieron como influencias a su música al incorporarle diferentes puntos de vista y emociones. Mientras él continuaba su nueva vida en este paÃs, él logro muchas metas, una de ellas fue persuadir su carrera musical obteniendo un pregrado en IngenierÃa de Sonido en la Universidad de Nueva York en el 2004.
