For the past couple of years, Doug Munro has had the pleasure of playing a steady gig in a great Brazilian restaurant called Pantanals in Port Chester, NY. During that time, he developed a repertoire built specifically around the nylon string guitar. Doug writes: "The gig at Pantanals has been a blast as well as a musically enriching experience for me. I know this CD represents a departure from my recent solo recordings, but I wanted to share this music with you in the hope that you might dig my slightly twisted take on the bossa nova and samba."
