TANGO, intimately and elegantly sung and interpreted. Accompanied by superb musicians using modern harmonies within the tradition of this hot and moving genre born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mimà Kozlowski is a native of Buenos Aires. Her musical career spans twenty years in Argentina, Brazil and Europe, including Paris, where she lived and performed for five years. Mimi's musical training includes classical piano and guitar, and she now studies with vocal coach Ida Terkiel in Buenos Aires. Her CD entitled "Nine Tangos and a Candombe" received the Counsel of Music's Prize - an organisation that belongs to UNESCO - for urban music, in 1998.
