De La Terra (Spanish for "Of The Earth") is the brainchild of Vancouver based guitarist Doug Towle (pronounced tÅl). A unique blend of world music and Spanish guitar, De La Terra is jazz infused rumba flamenco with a dash of modern world beat. After writing and recording the first independent CD, "Lluvia", De La Terra hit the stage and quickly became one of the most popular acts in southern B.C. and has continued to thrill audiences around the province. The highly anticipated second album "Rhythm and Passion" is a major development in Doug's compositions and guitar playing. His busy schedule of live shows has honed his material and musicianship into a stunning blend of talent and entertainment. De La Terra is one of the most unique live acts going.
