This Album is a culmination of many styles Deano is called to play. Darren Owsley (deano) has a remarkable and unusual style. Deano studied with one of the Kings of the Flamenco Juan Serrano. Juan became not only his mentor but his friend and sometimes father figure. Deano also admired and studied with electric guitarist Frank Gambale (Chick Corea)at the Hollywood Music School M.I.T. Deano however really wanted to make an album that would appeal to a larger audience. "MY mom would always say KISS!!! keep it simple stupid" SO this album, Deano has written melodies that would keep the intrest of a larger audiance. " I recording in two parts of the world,and bielive We have constructed an album rich and elegant. a bold ensamble with Latin rythums from South America to Flamenco motifs of Spain and Smooth Jazz sexy rythums of North America. This album is very unique and sometimes unusual with insrumentation that is full, thought out, and yet the melodies are simple, beautifull and elegant. I am proud of this album and the work it took to compose and organize such a large ensambe. Thank you to all who have helped me and support my unusual appetite for musical perfection."
